Job Title: Ab Initio Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ab Initio Developer to join our growing team in Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL solutions using Ab Initio. You will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver data integration solutions that drive business insights and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines using Ab Initio tools (GDE, Co>Operating System, Conduct>It, Express>It).
Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and analyze data integration requirements.
Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability across large datasets.
Perform data transformations, cleansing, and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL issues to maintain seamless data integration operations.
Ensure proper version control, deployment, and documentation of all ETL processes.
Monitor ETL workflows and provide support for production environments.
Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio development (GDE, Co>Operating System, Conduct>It).
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server).
Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation and integration tasks.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Experience with performance tuning of ETL processes and handling large volumes of data.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
