Job: Altium, PLM Administrator (Remote)

Location: Remote with 2-4 short visits per year (Local candidates in Milwaukee or candidates in IL preferred someone who can drive on site easily if needed)

Duration: 12 month contract or CTH if the person wants long-term

Top 3: Altium Experience + Desire to train others in PLM and help with integration of Altium into existing PLM system, Teamcenter

Citizen: Can do corp to corp if needed

Job Description

• They are integrating Altium into their PLM system, Teamcenter, and need someone who understands Altium and wants to do a job like this.
• Most experienced Altium, PCB Designers would be capable of this, but most would not want to do this because it's more of an I.T. role fielding tickets, troubleshooting and teaching others how to work through PLM and Altium.

The company is integrating Altium into their existing PLM, Teamcenter. The company has more than 5,000 PLM users. This will allow the company to do better electronic component forecasting.

• The candidate will help push all BOMs to Teamcenter and work in Altium.
• The candidate will help train others on integrating and installing and working with engineering systems and software related to this project.
• The candidate will field tickets for integration and work within Altium and Teamcenter.
• A good portion of this job involves training others.
• The candidate will help onboard users and help with issues with integration, troubleshooting and supporting.
• This work can be mostly remote but would require short visits to the work location in Wisconsin. All expenses would be covered for these visits.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have experience with Altium.
• Interest in working in a training and support role.
• Candidate must understand this is a support role and not a design role.

• It's okay if the candidate had primarily done Altium design before so long as they understand this is an I.T. support role and they are eager training others on issues related to integrating and installing Altium and working through PLM issues.
• Teamcenter experience not required but ideally a candidate would have worked in Ecad integration and Teamcenter before.Customer solution so anyone with ECad integration support with Teamcenter is awesome
• The company will train the consultant on certain things like Teamcenter so that they can train others.
