Overview:

As an Angular Developer, you will support our Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) customer by developing and maintaining web applications. In addition, you will mentor junior developers on the team.

  • Follow TDD/BDD development with extensive unit testing
  • Develop applications with WCAG compliance with 508 compatibility
  • Creating and using style guides
  • Performance tuning of UI applications
  • Manage tasks, sprints, and timesheet entry in JIRA, documentation in Confluence, and code repositories in Bitbucket
Qualifications and Education:

Required:
  • Requires bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Math, or Science and a minimum of 8-15years of relevant experience
  • Solid understanding and development experience in Angular and knowledge in REACT
  • Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, SASS or LESS, and Bootstrap, PrimeNG
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Excellent JavaScript knowledge and programming experience with ES5/ES6
  • Experience in developing UI applications with WCAG compliance
  • Experience with tools like Redux, Webpack, Angular CLI and/or Gulp
  • Experience consuming REST APIs
  • TDD/BDD experience (Jest, Jasmine, Karma or Chai)
  • Experience with client-side architecture and design patterns
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like Git, SVN or Mercurial
  • Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently
  • Exceptional learning skills
  • The ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance
Preferred:
  • Experience with Open Source or COTS SQL client and administration tool e.g. Toad, DBeaver or equivalent
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience with 508 Website Compliance
  • Experience with or exposure to Cloud, DevSecOps and CI/CD tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.
Compensation:
In accordance with pay transparency guidelines, the proposed salary range for this position is $98,698 to $126,897. Final salary will be determined based on various factors such as relevant skills, experience and certifications.
