Big Fish is a boutique software development studio in Tampa, Florida. We develop custom iOS, Android and web-based applications for field service companies.

We are looking for an experienced Flutter Developer to join our team on a project basis (contract, not full-time). If you are a contract Flutter developer who enjoys working for a variety of companies on different projects, this may be the right fit for you.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new Flutter apps from scratch
• You will be the sole Flutter developer on projects we hire you for, but you will be part of a team involving other developers for different components (ex. API developer)

Skills and Qualifications

• Flutter and Dart, at least 1 year is required
• 5+ years of professional software development experience (this is not a position suited for a junior developer)
• Complete comfort working as a Flutter developer without the support of other Flutter developers working on the same project
• Experience and knowledge of native development (iOS and/or Android) is a significant asset
• An eye for design when converting a UX/UI designer’s mockups into code

Logistics

• This is a fully remote position but the person we hire must be located in the United States
• You will need to have some weekday availability for meetings (not every day) and communication, but the hours you choose to spend programming are flexible
