Job Title: Application Developer

Duration: Contract (12+ Months, potential for extension)

Pay Rate: $45/hr (W2, all-inclusive)

NOTE: No preference for locals; candidates may work outside of Colorado but must arrive in Colorado Springs to receive their laptop and system access.

Position: Senior Developer

The Senior Developer acts as a technical expert and leader, focusing on customer satisfaction and development across multiple applications while mentoring Developer I and II team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on development.
• Collaborate with business analysts and customers to gather requirements.
• Implement secure programming techniques and best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, configuration management, and deployment.
• Provide operational support, from minor bug fixes to enhancements.
• Assist in planning for application replacement and modernization.

Required Work Experience:

• 4 years of programming experience in PowerBuilder with PFC libraries.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Informix or Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of PowerBuilder source control tools (e.g., Microsoft VSS).
• Experience in program code reading, troubleshooting, and routine ticket resolution.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex business rules clearly.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., 4GL, PHP) for application testing.
