Piper Companies is seeking an Application Security Engineer for a world leading technology organization. The Application Security Engineer role is fully remote working EST hours. An ideal candidate for the Application Security Engineer will come from offensive cyber security operations.
Responsibilities for the Application Security Engineer include:
Work closely with engineering to design and implement application-level security control and measures
Integrate application security tools into CI/CD pipelines to automate security testing
Conduct and review automated security code reviews and application vulnerability assessments
Requirements for the Application Security Engineer include:
2+ years of experience in application security
Previous experience working in offensive security as a red team operator or cyber operator
Proficient in python, go, or javascript
Experience with testing tools such as OWASP, ZAP, Burp Suite
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Compensation for the Application Security Engineer includes:
$105,000 - $125,000 annually with a full comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, and Sick Leave as required by law.
