Pay Rate: $42 - $46

Responsibilities:

Primary Function of Position
We are seeking a talented Application Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our Business
Intelligence and Enablement team within Professional Education and Program Services (PEPS). The ideal
candidate is passionate about building high-quality, innovative web applications that
enhance user experience and connect our teams functionality to web app-based tools. You will be
responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying web applications that align with our business
goals.

Essential Job Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Migrate existing web applications into one platform to serve the PEPS domain
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web application development.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong understanding of server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, .Net, etc.
• Experience with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with development-aiding tools (e.g., Git, Bower, Webpack, Gulp, etc.).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Education and Training (As applicable - Specific education and training that an individual must possess to successfully perform in job)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in web application development.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience in mobile app development is a plus.
