About the Role: We are seeking skilled Application/Software Architects (Level 2 and 3) to join our team. As part of a highly collaborative environment, you will be responsible for developing and implementing technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies to support major application areas. You will analyze business and application requirements, evaluate alternative technology solutions, and ensure the integration of all aspects of technology solutions. This role will involve monitoring industry trends, designing interfaces, and developing data dictionaries, among other responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Your tasks may include but are not limited to: Developing technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies to meet business requirements. Identifying policies and requirements that inform solution architecture. Analyzing and evaluating alternative technology solutions to solve business problems. Ensuring the integration of all aspects of technology solutions. Monitoring industry trends to align solutions with government and industry standards. Analyzing functional requirements, information, procedures, and decision flows. Evaluating existing methods and documenting system-specific standards. Developing and documenting interfaces between systems, as well as manual and automated operations. Defining input/output sources and preparing technical design plans. Mandatory Qualifications: Experience: Level 2: A minimum of 5 years of experience within the last 10 years. Level 3: A minimum of 10 years of experience within the last 15 years. Relevant project experience must demonstrate similar tasks to those outlined above. Education: A degree or diploma in computer science, information technology, or engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution. Certifications: Relevant professional certifications may be required (e.g., AWS, Azure, IBM, or Google Cloud Architect certifications).
