About the role: We are seeking a skilled Bot Developer with expertise in Mesh and Databricks Architecture to join our dynamic data engineering team. In this role, you will design and develop intelligent bots that automate tasks, integrate data workflows, and enhance the overall data infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Essential Functions:
Design, build, and deploy bots for data automation tasks across healthcare data workflows, including data integration, ETL processes, data quality checks, and reporting.
Develop bots to streamline interactions with various healthcare data sources, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), patient management systems, and IoT devices.
Implement AI-driven automation capabilities for optimizing data-driven decision-making processes.
Work with the Mesh Architecture to create highly modular, scalable, and centralized data workflows that support seamless bot operations.
Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Premise’s proprietary, custom-built platform.
Adapt to and leverage the features and capabilities of our homegrown platform to deliver high-quality applications and solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal use of the platform’s functionalities and align with its architectural principles.
Leverage Databricks to process large-scale data, utilizing distributed computing for real-time data processing and analytics.

Ensure that all bot development and data automation processes comply with industry standards, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data pipelines and automation workflows to enhance overall system efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
Conduct thorough testing of bots to ensure they function correctly and continuously improve their performance, accuracy, and usability based on feedback and analytics.
Develop monitoring tools to track bot performance, gathering insights to ensure that bots are operating efficiently and correctly.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for bot architecture, API integrations, and processes.
Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain bot solutions following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and scalability of bot applications.
Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and alignment with company coding standards.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Familiarity with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban preferred.

While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated California, Colorado, Washington, and New York compensation is $80,000 - $100,000.
