We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in in Helsinki, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Oulu, Pori, Tampere, Turku, Vaasa or remotely in Finland. Your Role As Cloud DevOps Engineer

Your passion is to develop cloud solutions and DevOps practices, and to improve developer experience in cloud native development.

As a project team member, your tasks will focus on AWS cloud and DevOps. You will work closely with the project team, and share knowledge and expertise related to DevOps techniques and culture to them. Your role includes designing and developing various CI/CD pipelines, and taking part in designing and building cloud infrastructure and its automation. Your duties will primarily involve DevOps related tasks but may also include platform engineering or software development work, if you prefer.

We have an experimental culture, and things can be developed actively. Therefore, if you wish, you can develop a wider DevOps culture at the Solita level together with other colleagues.

What we are looking for?

• Knowledge in CI/CD automation in AWS cloud platform, for example with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure.
• Skills in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Some programming experience to understand context. Possible programming language could be e.g. Python, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin or C#.
• Fluent skills in both Finnish and English.
• Ability and interest to work in the role of a consultant.
• Passion to constantly learn more and to grow as a professional, and willingness to share knowledge with others.
  
  
  

The following skills are not mandatory for this role but would be good if you have knowledge of some of these: test automation, monitoring, security, or cloud migrations. It is also a plus, if you already have AWS cloud certificates.
