Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Back End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. This role requires a strong understanding of application development, database design, and software development methodologies. Experience implementing application programming interfaces (APIs) is a must. You will collaborate closely with front end developers and other team members to create seamless user experiences that meet business requirements, are well documented, and are efficiently implemented in a timely manner. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications using best practices in software development. Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Implement database designs that ensure data integrity and optimal performance. Utilize version control systems such as GitHub for code management and collaboration. Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies to facilitate project planning and execution. Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and user experience. Write clear documentation for application features and functionalities. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes. Requirements Proficiency in back end programming languages such as PHP, Python, or Java. Experience with Drupal for content management system development is preferred. Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, for application deployment and management. Knowledge of AJAX for asynchronous web applications. Proficient knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases, specifically Mongo DB Experienced in building data pipelines with C# Experience with JavaScript is a plus Experience with Azure is a plus Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Experience in Insurance / Healthcare industry a plus Strong skills in database design and management, including SQL / NoSQL databases. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
