Position Summary We are seeking an Intermediate Backend Developer with a passion for building robust, scalable systems and a keen interest in web3 technologies. You'll be part of a growing team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services. Focuses include user authentication & authorization and blockchain integrations. This role requires a mix of independent problem-solving, collaboration, and adaptability to new technologies. Key Responsibilities Develop & Maintain Backend Services: Work primarily with Node.js to build and optimize APIs, microservices, and other backend components such as databases and serverless functions. Web3 Integrations: Contribute to blockchain features, including interactions with smart contracts on Solana (Rust) and various blockchain protocols. Infrastructure & DevOps: Collaborate on deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure management and observability. Ticketing & Collaboration: Use tools like Jira & Notion to manage tasks and ensure smooth, organized workflows while working with various team members. Version Control: Maintain and contribute to projects using Git and participate in regular code reviews ensuring high quality code. Teamwork & Communication: Work closely with various team members; QA, DevOps, and product to deliver reliable and secure systems. User Authentication & Authorization: Implement secure authentication flows, ability to stay up-to-date and aware of the evolving changes related to user authentication & authorization. Self-Starter & Ownership: Proactively identify areas for improvement and drive solutions from start to finish, ability to find work that needs to be done and take ownership of its delivery. Required Skills & Experience Node.js Proficiency: Solid experience in building backend services used in production environments. Web3 Foundations: Some hands-on experience with blockchain, web3 libraries, or related tools. DevOps & Infrastructure: Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration Tools: Experience with Git, Jira, Notion, and agile development practices. Team-Oriented: Proven ability to work effectively in a team, communicate ideas clearly, and collaborate on shared goals. Self Motivated & Self-Driven: Demonstrates ownership, can operate with minimal guidance, and drives tasks to completion. Preferred Qualifications Smart Contract Exposure: Knowledge of Solidity, EVMs, or other Ethereum-based blockchain programming languages. Rust Experience: Advantageous if you have built or contributed to projects using Rust for blockchain or systems programming. Multiple Blockchain Experience: Understanding of various blockchain ecosystems and how they interconnect (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Bitcoin, etc.).
