Tasks

• Develop and maintain robust backend systems using NodeJS (with NestJS) or Laravel, depending on the project requirements.
• Design and implement APIs and backend services to support frontend applications and third-party integrations.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data handling and storage.
• Optimize backend systems for scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate APIs and deliver seamless end-to-end functionality.
• Debug and troubleshoot backend issues to ensure system reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest backend technologies and frameworks (e.g., NodeJS, NestJS, Laravel) and implement new tools as needed.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to improve the scalability and reliability of backend solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in NodeJS (preferably with NestJS) or Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Proficiency in working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Experience with backend performance optimization and security best practices.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• A passion for backend development and learning new technologies.
