Enhance the architecture and systems ensuring high performance, low latency, availability, and reliability Respond promptly to production issues, collaborating with team members to resolve problems effectively Adapt & thrive in a fast-paced, startup, and agile environment WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU At least 4 years of strong hands-on experience in Java backend development Skilled in one or more programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, Golang, NodeJS, C++, or Rust Proficient in PostgreSQL with expertise in SQL tuning & optimization Experienced in designing and implementing scalable microservices & APIs Knowledgeable in caching mechanisms Understanding of HTTP, WebSocket, &TCP/IP protocols Experienced with Messaging Queue systems Comfortable using the Atlassian product suite Strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, with ability to work independently Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and acquire new skills WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT Fluency in English and Mandarin for effective internal stakeholder communication & business correspondence Prior experience in FinTech or trading, financial, crypto industries Familiar with blockchain technologies, capital markets, & financial payments systems Hands-on experience using: Redis, for Caching Kafka, for Message Queueing JIRA, Confluence Experience with managing infrastructure on AWS Knowledge of Kubernetes
