This particular need is for a Big Data Platform Software Development role collect huge amt of data from devices; data flow through data pipeline is processed in real time and stored in a data warehouse with powerful SQL engine; multiple teams/orgs use this information for data analysis; this team will also help with the data analysis Interface to clients is not an API Using S3 Kubernetes, EC2, Flink and Lambda

Responsibilities:

• This is a Big Data Platform Software Developer role.
• Collect large data sets from various devices
• Manage data flow, pipelines and store in data warehouse
• Enable multiple teams to perform data analysis on stored data

D2D Tasks:

• Software development
• Testing
• Production support
• Daily meeting BA & Team
• Design, testing, coding

Skills: Python 11, Java, SQL, Linux, AWS (S3, Kubernetes, EC2, Flink, Lambada)
Experience: level experience between level 2 to level 4 Entry Level Candidates could be reviewed as well as long as talent is there prefers candidates to have ETL process instead of Big Data but Big Data experience helps; needs a solid Software Developer; this project is in production so this is dealing with enhancements and support.

Data Engineers would work well here if they have the tools needed under the skill

This is not a DevOps role; but more of a Software Developer with skills in Python, Java, SQL, Linux and AWS.
