Role: The Branch Marketing and Development Specialist is responsible for assisting with branch-related marketing strategies in collaboration with the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Strategy & Growth Officer, as well as other executive leadership. This position will assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies related to branch business development (both new and existing, considering market nuances), manage pre- and post-build/remodel communications and branding efforts, and partner with print and signage vendors to ensure cohesive and effective marketing materials. Additionally, they will gain in-depth knowledge of all branch markets to develop tailored marketing and communication plans, collaborating with in-house designers and public relations teams to execute marketing initiatives.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development of all communications and branding strategies related to branch remodels and new branch builds, including pre- and post-build/remodel communications, on-site temporary signage and wayfinding, and permanent internal and external branding and regulatory signage. Collaborates with marketing and facilities leadership to develop a branded and approved kit of parts for remodels and builds, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Assists in the development of marketing plans specifically for new market entry, including pre-build communications strategies, local advertising opportunities and partnerships, and tailored plans. Works with the graphic design team, PR team, and local vendors to develop and execute materials that resonate with diverse communities. Emphasizes the importance of understanding and addressing the unique characteristics and preferences of different markets to ensure effective and relevant marketing communications.
  • Gains understanding of regional branch markets and recommends strategies for ongoing local marketing, sponsorships, and community involvement.
  • Ensures all branch marketing materials remain up to date, within brand standards, and compliant with regulatory, state, and federal requirements. Communicates, executes, and tracks recommendations as needed.
  • Tracks new branch membership growth and transactional data, and compiles member feedback from surveys and other tools to create needed educational and marketing materials. Reports this data to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to provide insights into the effectiveness of current strategies and inform future marketing efforts.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience: Five or more years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations is required. This role requires extensive experience in supporting branch-specific marketing efforts, including builds and remodels. The ideal candidate must be adept at multitasking, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and supporting various branches across our field of membership.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Other skills required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization is required.
  • Proficiency with standard office software packages (spreadsheets, presentations, etc.) is required.
  • Use of discretion and independent judgement in decision making is required.
  • Must have mastery of planning, writing and editing content.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills.
