What you’ll be doing:
Handle incoming marketing pipeline, speaking to management-level individuals, and finalizing their participation as one of our monthly articles.
Sell advertising space within the magazine to a continuous warm lead pipeline towards the end of revenue generation for our monthly issues.
Conduct cold calling and prospecting to seek out new and exciting companies to highlight, with a focus on large to mid-size property development and construction firms.
Work with marketing teams to collect images for articles and collaborate with accounts and admin teams to gather other materials for the piece.
Utilize strong research skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications.
Maintain organization and follow a systematic method and sales process.
Be a self-starter who does not need to be micromanaged, with a hunter mentality and the ability to work independently.
Collaborate with industry-leading associations to provide a holistic view of various sectors and their adjacent industry verticals.
What you bring to the position:
Excellent communication in English (verbal and written) is required.
Ability to work in Australian time zone is required.
High school diploma or college degree preferred but not necessary.
3-5 years of B2B outbound call center experience, preferably in advertising or media, or equivalent experience in prospecting and/or cold calling highly desirable.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.
Home office with a personal computer and strong internet connection.
