We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to spearhead the early realization and development of our ammonia bunkering business in Singapore.
This pivotal role will involve strategic planning, operational setup, regulatory engagement, and the establishment of necessary business infrastructure to position us as a key player in the evolving maritime decarbonization landscape.
Job Scope:
Early realization of ammonia bunkering business in Singapore
Planning of the ammonia bunkering business, including ammonia bunkering vessels, and discussions with relevant parties.
Creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Response Plans (ERP), and obtaining confirmation (including revisions) from authorities.
Specification discussions (including equipment selection) ammonia bunker vessels with shipbuilders and classification societies.
Confirmation of crew arrangements, general discussions on ship management including ship registration and certification.
Establishment and management of the companies necessary for the business
Implementation of all necessary tasks for conducting the ammonia bunkering business in Singapore.
Other Requirements:
Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Proven experience in relevant business development or project management role within the maritime or energy sector
Experience in investment, acquisition and finance in the business segments, planning of mid-term business strategies for ammonia bunkering related business.
Possess general knowledge of licenses and certifications pertinent to ship operations and the business.
Excellent communication skills (Effectively communicate information and ideas, both in both written and verbal, to Senior managements, Staffs, Clients and Vendors).
Strong problem-solving and analytics capabilities (Identify and define problems, extract key information from clients/vendors, verify cause of problem and develop feasible solutions to resolve problems identified).
Familiarity with ship specifications, particularly for liquefied gas carriers, and general knowledge of safe navigation principles and equipment.
Understanding of decarbonization trends, including LCA methodologies and relevant certifications.
Basic foundation in physics and chemistry.
Experience working in a multicultural environment.
