Position Summary:

The Business Development Specialist will focus on expanding LC Plus’s market share through strategic outreach supporting both LC Plus Consulting and LC Plus Technology. This role will be critical to building a robust pipeline, developing client relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth.


Essential Competencies:

Organizational Regard and Accountability

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and qualify high-potential leads for LC Plus Consulting and LC Plus Technology.
  • Utilize the Client Relationship Management (CRM) System to identify, manage and track lead generation and progress, ensuring opportunities are fully explored and maximized. Manage and execute campaigns through the CRM to effectively promote offerings, drive engagement, and generate qualified leads.

Critical Thinking and Decision Making

  • Identify emerging markets and potential industries for LC Plus Technology and LC Plus Consulting services to stimulate future opportunities and leads.
  • Adapt to changes in the market, client behavior or client needs by implementing new sales tactics.

Relationship Building

  • Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with prospective clients and partners by adopting a customer-focused approach, highlighting the unique value proposition of LC Plus.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new client inquiries and community engagements stimulating new connections for LC Plus.

Lead Change through Innovation

  • Develop competitive strategies to position LC Plus as a leader in the MSP and consulting spaces.
  • Utilize industry analytics and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for innovation, such as targeting a new market segment or optimizing the sales process.

Inspire Others and Support Development

  • Communicate a clear vision for change, motivate team members, and gain buy-in from stakeholders to support sales.
  • Utilize industry, organizational analytics and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for innovation, such as targeting a new market segment or optimizing the sales process.

Effective Communication

  • Ensure a positive public image for the organization through internal and public-facing communication.
  • Translate clients’ needs into innovative ideas which can be supported through LC Plus.

Work Relationships and Scope:

The Business Development Specialist will report to the Business Development Manager ensuring alignment across both LC Plus Technology and LC Plus Consulting to drive holistic business development efforts. Significant collaborations will occur with the Vice President of Organizational Impact and the Vice President of Technology. High levels of interaction will occur daily with community businesses and stakeholders.


Working Conditions:

Work is performed remotely, or in an office environment, with minimal chance for personal injury. Respond to various operational, community, customer or employee situations and fulfill multiple priorities within established deadlines. Serve as a representative of the organization at appropriate functions. Work hours are generally during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8am – 4:30pm. However, unscheduled evening and weekend work will be necessary to meet the needs of the organization. Occasional travel throughout the state.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, sales, other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (includes knowledge, skills, and abilities).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sales, marketing, or related area.
  • Experience with developing new business opportunities.
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects at a time.
  • Demonstrated ability to be sales driven, goal-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Strong business acumen skills.
  • Ability to build positive, collaborative working relationships with leaders and staff.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and proof of adequate insurance required
