Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Camunda Workflow Developer to design, implement, and optimize complex business process workflows that combine automated tasks and human interactions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and hands-on expertise with the Camunda platform to deliver scalable, efficient, and robust workflow solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end workflows using the Camunda BPM platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Implement and manage BPMN workflows that integrate automated processes with human tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into efficient workflow solutions.
- Develop custom task handlers and connectors for integration with third-party systems and APIs.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize workflow performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Implement robust error-handling, escalation, and retry mechanisms within workflows.
- Document processes, technical designs, and provide training to team members on workflow usage and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience designing and implementing workflows using Camunda BPM platform.
- Proficiency in BPMN modeling and understanding of DMN (Decision Model and Notation).
- Strong programming skills in Java or another relevant language for Camunda customizations.
- Experience integrating Camunda with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP, or messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with deploying and managing Camunda on-premise or in cloud environments.
- Solid understanding of process automation, orchestration, and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Camunda's external task workers and cockpit for process monitoring.
- Knowledge of database systems and writing optimized SQL queries for workflow data management.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for deploying and scaling Camunda applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with tools for workflow monitoring and reporting.
- Camunda-related certifications or professional training.
