Are you an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer that is deeply into DevOps and wants to be at the forefront of the Telco cloud evolution?

I am Thomas Mårtensson, and I am leading the development and operations of Telia's network cloud platform. Right now, we are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to our NFVI-team to further increase our ability to maintain and evolve the network cloud platform.

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer you will continue to evolve our network cloud platform and do this by using the latest technologies in the area. You will be part of an agile team that are responsible for Lifecycle Management (LCM), Change Management, Incident Management, and automation of the infrastructure.

The team works currently according to Agile and SAFe ways-of-working and are looking to adapt SRE practices/principles going forward.

The work duties consist of but are not limited to:

• Service Assurance on the platform with on call duty
• Contributing to System LCM & development roadmaps.
• Management of SW & HW upgrade planning.
• Automate the platform operations with DevOps and SRE principles

Your experience:

• Solid understanding of private cloud technologies and processes, as well virtual machines, and servers (VMware: SAN, vSPhare, vROPs, NSX).
• Troubleshooting experience of both software and hardware.
• Experienced in coordinating and planning LCM activities based on vendor recommendation.
• Experienced in utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IAAS) to automate operations (Ansible, Jenkins, OpenStack, Saltstack, Terraform, CloudFormation etc.).
• Configuration management principles and tools (Git, Gerrit, Bitbucket).
• CI/CD, testing and test case development.
