Job Description We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing our clients' Azure infrastructure. This role involves architecting innovative Azure solutions tailored to our clients' needs and providing escalation support for Azure-related issues. As a pivotal member of our IT team, you will collaborate closely with other IT professionals and client stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient Azure operations. Responsibilities Help design, implement, and manage Azure environments, including but not limited to VMs, ASPs, containers, Azure SQL, Azure Firewall, Application Gateways, Storage Accounts, VPN/ER Gateways, Private Endpoints, Entra (cloud-only & hybrid), and resilient network configurations. Deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure. Provide escalation support for Azure-related incidents and problems, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security. Collaborate with project teams to integrate Azure services with other cloud and on-premises environments. Conduct research on emerging Azure technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility. Develop and document best practices and operational procedures for Azure deployment and management. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Qualifications Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or similar role. Strong understanding of Azure services, management, and operations. Experience with cloud automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI). Knowledge of networking and cloud-based delivery models. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification is required. However, the right candidate would have up to 30 days from their start date to obtain this certification. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted Azure/Microsoft 365 certifications Experience 3 – 5 years of experience in cloud computing, specifically with Microsoft Azure.
