The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline creation, and management. Cloud Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing our software development processes, ensuring seamless deployments, and maintaining high performance and reliability of our applications Job Type: Contract Location: Remote (Canada) Essential Functions Utilize Azure DevOps to create, execute, and oversee CI/CD pipelines Manage version control, branching, and merging strategies effectively Streamline build, test, and deployment processes to achieve zero-downtime deployments Build and manage Docker containers for application deployment Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Create, deploy, and manage applications in containers with technologies like Docker Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure high performance and reliability Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency Ensure reliable and efficient script execution and error handling Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources, including coding aspects Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related role Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress Experience in version control, branching, and merging strategies Expertise in Docker building and containerization Solid understanding of Kubernetes and containerization technologies Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash Strong automation skills to improve operational processes Ability to ensure high performance and reliability of applications Experience working with Azure resources, including provisioning, configuration, and coding aspects Knowledge of networking and security, specifically with Azure PaaS In-depth understanding of Azure resources and provisioning Self-driven and able to work with little direction .NET and AEM experience is a plus We are an equal opportunity employer.
