CNO Software Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced CNO Software Engineer to provide technical expertise for a U.S. Government client. This full-time role is focused on sustaining and enhancing mission-critical software and systems within a large-scale government contract.
Key Responsibilities
Innovation Support : Join the innovation team within the CNO’s Foundational Services product group, collaborating with analysts, operators, and developers.
Microservice Development : Add new features and functionality to a complex microservice ecosystem.
Process Automation : Automate manual tasks using advanced software engineering methods.
Infrastructure Automation & Analytics : Develop next-generation infrastructure automation and build analytics tools that provide real-time user notifications.
User Interface Design : Create reliable, user-friendly interfaces and workflows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work across multiple teams and technology stacks to deliver integrated solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Security Clearance : Active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Citizenship : U.S. Citizenship required.
Experience : 12+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, particularly Java and C#.
Familiarity with build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
Experience with containerization and deployment using Docker/Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Git for version control and experience with JavaScript, especially Angular.
Experience working with Elasticsearch.
Soft Skills : Independent and collaborative work abilities, strong communication, and a proactive approach to managing timelines, user feedback, and software deployment.
Preferred Skills
Additional Programming : Proficiency in Python for scripting, analytics, and orchestration.
Messaging Systems : Experience with distributed messaging systems like Kafka.
SIGINT Knowledge : Familiarity with SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
Cloud Experience : Experience with AWS, particularly C2S.
Networking Fundamentals : Basic understanding of networking and production CNO capabilities.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary : $115,000 - $190,000
