General Summary You will be joining MajorKey Technologies as a ColdFusion Developer to develop, design, and configure applications using ColdFusion, Java, or related languages. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on ColdFusion development and a good understanding of related programming languages. Applicants must be a Green Card Holder or US Citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. This is a remote position based in the US. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in ColdFusion development. Experience with Java programming. Understanding and experience in using CommandBox. Proficiency with ColdFusion frameworks such as ColdBox and FW/1. Strong front-end development skills with expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases, including writing and optimizing queries, stored procedures, and database design. Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS). Proficient in version control systems like Git and experience managing repositories. Experience in setting up and maintaining continuous integration pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies and participation in Agile teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. Knowledge of database optimization techniques for Oracle and SQL Server. Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus. Experience in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.
