Position Title: Compiler engineer (US Citizens Only) Location: Remote We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications: Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain compilers for high-performance computing systems, programming languages, and embedded platforms. Analyze and optimize code generation, focusing on improving compiler efficiency, runtime performance, and support for new hardware architectures. Implement new language features and enhancements in existing compilers. Collaborate with software engineers and architects to design tools that enhance developer productivity and enable scalable, optimized applications. Identify and fix bugs related to compiler functionality and performance. Contribute to the research and development of new compiler optimization techniques. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in compiler technology and programming language theory. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Master's or PhD is a plus. Proven experience developing compilers or related tools. Strong understanding of compiler theory, optimization techniques, and code generation. Expertise in common compiler frameworks (LLVM, GCC, Clang, etc.). Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Rust, or Java. Knowledge of performance analysis and optimization. Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and language design. Experience in debugging tools and testing frameworks for compilers. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Experience in version control systems (e.g., Git). Federal Experience is a plus. Required Security clearance.
