RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms including COTS products
Support, maintain, and document software functionality, integrating COTS solutions for a seamless user experience
Analyze code to find causes of errors and revises programs as needed
Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
Apply COTS subject matter expertise for problem-solving and to lead the design and implementation efforts for the project
Consult with the end-user as needed to prototype, refine, test, and debug legacy applications to meet needs
Support migration efforts to leverage new technologies as COTS products go end of life
Attend meetings, provide updates and presentations on the status of development and implementation efforts
Keep up-to-date with best practices and skills
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
At least eight (8) years of overall experience, with a minimum of five (5) years experience working specifically in COTS development with Labware or Accela
At least five (5) years experience working on SDLC projects
Working knowledge of SW development process documentation
Understand Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks under strict deadlines
Strong analytical and systems thinking skill set; ability to apply technical solutions to broad, complex problems
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively lead working groups; and facilitate communication and collaboration with business stakeholders and customers
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Agile (e.g. CSM. SAFe, etc.) certifications
Experience in the government contracting arena
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience may be substituted in absence of a degree.

Internal title/grade: Software Engineer, E3
Salary Range: $105,000 - $132,000
All individuals being hired to work for TCG must submit to, and successfully pass, a pre-employment background investigation prior to reporting for their first day of work. The pre-employment background investigation will include verification of employment and education, as well as, a criminal and DMV check.
Additional documentation and background checks will also be required for positions that require clearance from the Federal government.
