The full Plan can be viewed on ttc.ca. Career Opportunity We have a great opportunity in our Finance Department. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. What You Will Do You will support the development of reports, identification of trends, and provision of statistical information, in order to ensure accuracy and timeliness in capturing TTC vehicle kilometres and service hours. In this role you will coordinate data collection, data entry and the running of database audit reports; develop accurate and timely weekly, monthly, yearly reports; supports period-end activities; provides ad-hoc statistical information and analysis of TTC vehicle mileage and service hours for internal and external stakeholders; and supports the Senior Data Analyst on automation, process improvement and data analytics projects related to vehicle kilometres and service hours. You will review and analyze vehicle mileage and service hours information from divisions, payroll, and internal staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data. Liaise with division management to correct and improve quality of data. Review daily edits, daily uploads, weekly balances, and period end adjustments (charter, outside metro contracted services, modal time) of vehicle kilometres and service hours information. A University Degree, or College Diploma in a related discipline (Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics), along with relevant experience, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent Enrollment in or possession of a recognized accounting designation (e.g. CPA) is an asset. Strong knowledge in MS Excel, Excel VBA, PowerPoint, and Word, Strong quantitative, problem solving skills and abilities to discover interconnectivities between various sources of data and observations. Working knowledge in data manipulation, data analytics and business intelligence. Ability to develop measurable and relevant targets / benchmarks to monitor and report on organizational progress towards corporate and/or business plans, priorities & objectives. Ability to develop effective relationships both internally and externally. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in preparing reports with complex technical information for management team. Ability to manage competing priorities and demands in a rapidly changing environment. Knowledge of and experience with public sector organizations or transit agencies is an asset. Demonstrated work experience with Power BI is an asset. Demonstrated work experience with MicroStrategy is an asset. Demonstrated work experience with SQL is an asset. What Skills Do You Bring?
