Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking individual to work in our San Antonio, Texas Corporate Office. Required Minimum Work Experience: Minimum 2 year experience with R or Python. Minimum 1 year experience with SQL (any backend, SQL Server preferred) must be able to create efficient & scalable relational data models. Minimum 1 year experience with Linux. Minimum 1 year experience with Git or another version control system. Awareness of memory management for big data. Experience with efficiently deploying projects/services onto a remote server, and the ability to maintain deployments. Understanding of the software development lifecycle. Ability to maintain/optimize existing systems while still completing the existing systems objective. Experience creating & deploying efficient ETL pipelines. Ability to work with a team and write reproducible code allowing for team members to help with development. Experience with data mining/collection. If you have R experience, the ideal candidate will be versed in the following R packages: data.table DBI shiny openxlsx curl (or experience using any other libcurl implementation) · Experience with R package development, which should also entail having experience with the following R packages: roxygen2 testthat With the experience of creating R packages one should have experience creating clearly defined functions which are documented and tested. Ability to use the base R package when necessary instead of creating unnecessary 3rdparty dependencies. Preferred if has experience with R: Experience with the ggplot2 R package, or any others for data visualization. Preferred: Experience with containerization (Docker). Experience utilizing existing or creating new CI/CD pipelines. Job Type Full Time
