Cirrus is seeking an SQL/SSIS Developer to work in San Francisco Bay Area or remote.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Development of ETL processes with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Migration and upgrades of SSIS packages.
Batch automation of ETL Processes.
Build pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
Data integration using with Snowflake databases
Coding and optimization of SQL server stored procedures, triggers and functions.
Development of SQL Server Reporting Services and custom coded reports.
Database testing to ensure programming changes are functional and meet client requirements.
Implementation of SQL Server security best practices.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field.
5-8+ years development production support of ETL integration with at least 2 years in a senior role.
5+ years of writing and implementing codes in SQL from scratch.
5+ years of development experience with data integration toolsets and writing and maintaining ETL jobs
5+ years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services
5+ years of experience with SQL Server 2018 and later.
Preferred Qualifications
Azure Data Factory is preferred
Snowflake is nice to have but not a must
Solid experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Senior level experience with SQL/TSQL and ability to create and tune queries.
Solid experience writing SQL code and implementing same.
Experience with Azure Data Factory is desired
Solid experience with optimizing database systems.
Experience with database administration skills like backup and recovery, mirroring/high availability, replication, table partitioning, and index tuning.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
Financial services experience is a plus.
Training and Certifications (required and desired)
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field.
