Position Overview The Data Scientist will be a member of the Data Team building data platforms consisting of large imaging datasets and their metadata. You will be a project member working with other software developers and expected to collaborative successfully within a multidisciplinary Research and Development group to support business objectives. The purpose of the Data Engineering team is to research, develop and iteratively improve the scientific basis of a diagnostic product line. The position supports remote working within Australia. Responsibilities Using statistical and imaging processing methods you will build and iterate machine learning models that can be re-implemented by the application developers in real-time embedded computing devices for Edge Deployment in the production environment. Required Experience 1-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other scientific field using relevant techniques. Proven experience applying machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to real-world problems Experience with SQL and understanding of version control systems Experience with building models using pytorch, tensorflow, scikit learn or similar tools Knowledge of image processing and computer vision techniques Expertise in Python working with computer vision applications Experience with writing functional documentation and reports Ability to remain professional and be positive in all personal interactions.
