Data scientist - bioinformation - outside IR35 - £560 a day - Remote Exalto consulting are currently recruiting for a contract Data scientist/ bioinformation to work remote for my client, daily rate is £560 a day outside IR35 initially 6 months Essential · Bachelor's and advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in bioinformatics, computational biology, statistics, or a related field with a strong academic record. Technical Expertise · Strong problem-solving skills in bioinformatics and data science. · Extensive experience in biomarker development and clinical trial data analysis. · Proficiency in statistical methods (e.g., survival analysis) and machine learning techniques (e.g., Random Forest, Gradient Boosting). Development Skills · Expertise in Python and SQL (required), familiarity with Nextflow for scalable pipeline development. · Experience in developing workflows for automated data analysis. · Strong data wrangling and integration skills.
