This position has the ability to be completely remote.
Purpose: This is for database manager services for data migration on an hourly assignment basis specific to the centralization and cloud-modernization of the Florida Department of Health’s Health Management System (HMS).
The project is the consolidation of 67 instances of the Department’s self-developed EHR into a single cloud instance. Seeking a resource experienced in backend database analysis, demonstrated expertise with the IRIS Database is a plus. This resource will be expected to work with the development team to write utilities that will support developer unit testing.
Service Tasks:
6.1.1. Perform the following for applications based on Intersystems Cache, Cache Server Pages (CSP), HTML, Javascript, Jquery, Json, Ajax, and ASP.Net.
6.1.1.1. Create system designs and provide documentation for system feature enhancements and additions and bug fixes, daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
6.1.1.2. Modify and create application code and database code, ready for User Acceptance Testing, daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
6.1.1.3. Troubleshoot, determine, and document resolutions to system issues identified by the HMS Support group and the Applications Management team, daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
6.1.1.4. Provide work estimates, communication and updates for Release Planning, Sprint Planning and Daily Scrum, daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
6.1.1.5. Document application modifications and additions in a documentation repository, daily, as specified in the work tickets assigned by the Department.
6.1.2. Complete job required training as assigned by the Department. As directed by the Department, submit verification after each training (i.e. certification of completion, completed sign-in sheet, etc.).
6.1.3. DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY TASK:
The Contractor, its employees, subcontractors, and agents must comply at all times with all Department data security procedures and policies in the performance of this scope of work as specified in the Data Security and Confidentiality document attached to the purchase order.
Travel: Reimbursement for travel expenses is authorized only when approved in advance by the Department Contract Manager.
Criminal Background Screening:
The Department will conduct a criminal history record check, including fingerprinting, on the consultant assigned by the Contractor prior to the consultant commencing work for the Department. The Department retains sole discretion as to whether the results of the criminal history record check will result in the Contractor’s employee being disqualified from performing services pursuant to this agreement.

5.1. 7 years of documented experience working as InterSystems IRIS/Caché Object Script Developer and a thorough understanding of the Cache database system.
5.2. 7 years of documented experience in designing and implementing IRIS/Cache databases, including data modeling and Structured Query Language (SQL).
5.3. 7 years of documented experience using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and Javascript.
5.4. 5 years of documented experience using SQL queries, Javascript Object Notation (JSON), jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, and eXtensible Markup Language (XML).
5.5. Expert in object-oriented programming.
5.6. Experience in building Web services and consuming web services in cache.
5.7. Working knowledge of Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates, Java key stores, and encryption.
5.8. Working knowledge of message/file transfer protocols: Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), Pretty Good Privacy (PGP), (Public key/Private key).
5.9. Working knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance regulations, like the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), relevant to data management and privacy.
