The Delivery Analyst role will provide specialist SAP Basis focused skills to provide the successful technical delivery of ICT change and business development and ensure the availability of a complex SAP landscape. Working within a managed project environment, you will fulfil Application support and change/development activities within the SAP Basis area, assisting in the implementation and change of application specific requirements to meet customer needs. As well as possessing technical and analytical skills, you will be an accomplished proficient verbal and written communicator for a wide variety of technical and non-technical purposes.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following role specific skills.
Experience working as a fully experienced SAP Basis Technical/Delivery analyst role
Technical skills based on practical experience of SAP implementation and configuration of Basis components in a complex landscape to include patching and upgrades to systems comprising SAP NetWeaver 7.5 (BW 7.5, PI 7.5 and EP 6 and GW 2.0), SAP SRM 7.01, SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 8 and SAP Solution Manager 7.2
Manage availability of SAP systems to ensure business hrs BAU & ICT maintenance & security activities are delivered out of hours
SAP Basis administration tasks for all implemented systems including Transport management
SAP Patching to include kernel , legal and support packs, and have hands on experience of Enhancement pack upgrades
SAP Java admin and configuration
SAP System and Client copy processes
SAP GUI build / test / deploy / transition
SAP Solution Manager configuration & administration
SAP Performance & Workload Analysis
Strong team player who’s able to work independently
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Strong end user interaction skills
DB2 database administration
DB2 database implementation upgrade & patching experience
Security of databases, servers & applications expertise
EPI-USE setup, patching and administration
