Life as a Senior Delphi Engineer at CES:
We're on the hunt for a talented Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Delphi and SQL to join our Engineering and Enablement Domain. We're looking for a self-starter who is passionate about software development and thrives in both independent and collaborative environments. You’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality software applications for our wholesale transactions team that make a real impact. Your Objectives:
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Delphi and SQL Anywhere
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement software features
Create unit tests and perform debugging of software applications to ensure high-quality and error-free code
Contribute and create technical documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, and user manuals
Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain code quality and ensure compliance with best practices
Essential Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Delphi and SQL Anywhere or other DBMS
Must be comfortable working with Delphi versions 5 and 7.
Extensive experience in the full software development life cycle, including design, development, testing and deployment
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Microsoft Teams Video Interview with the hiring manager (60 minutes)
Technical Interview via Microsoft Teams Video with a couple of engineers from the team (60 minutes)
