About the role We are looking for a Deployment Engineer to join the team. The Deployment Engineer will be responsible for the technical deployment process during the implementation cycle. This includes technical checks, client technical presentations, managing client technical resources, internal technical resources, and general deployment support. The Deployment Engineer will use their technical knowledge to support the client and Artisight Devops team with technical requirements. As part of maintaining client satisfaction, some post-sale duties may occasionally be required to resolve customer issues. The Deployment Engineer must be a self-starter and proactively ensure client satisfaction as part of the deployment team. What you'll do Provide technical requirements to clients. Manage and provide technical support during the deployment process. Work directly with customers in the deployment and account management process. Work with Artisight Service Desk & DevOps to transition deployments to production ready state. Work with Artisight Service Desk & DevOps when required to provide post-sale support. Occasional travel to client sites as part of the deployment or support process. Provide customer assistance with all related test tools and applications, ensure all necessary technical requirements are met as part of the deployment process. Perform reseller and customer technical product training. Provide problem escalation in a timely manner when required. Partner with internal & external resources to establish project plans, set timelines, and manage expectations. Keep current on all Artisight product features, capabilities, and roadmaps. Qualifications 5+ years of enterprise IT experience Experience in Linux and web apps Experience with Python scripting or similar Experience leading deployment software & workflow solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail. Strong individual and group presentation skills. Excellent customer management skills. Excellent time management skills. Self-starter - good internal motivation for self-directed time and activities Manage relationships and tasks with teams of engineers, deployment specialists, client engineers, and various stakeholders to complete projects tasks on time. Ability to track and manage risks and issues while creating paths of communication to resolution. Detailed technical understanding of server, network, and storage systems both on-prem and in public cloud environments. Provide go live support to ensure projects are deployed properly. Have empathy for a broad variety of users. Experience working in a fast paced environment.
