Salary range: $51,000-$70,000/yearly U.S candidates only The Developer Support Analyst works as part of a hybrid engineering and support team on the cutting edge of the real estate industry’s transition from legacy architecture to modern, API-powered products. Our focus is to make the API solutions that FBS offers both effective and simple to use while also supporting our legacy data feeds during this transitionary period. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve developer questions via email or phone regarding API authentication and integration. Escalate problems to other internal teams when solutions require software or data configuration changes. Act as a primary point of contact for our MLS clients in configuring their APIs and answering questions. Act as a primary point of contact for our MLS clients utilizing our RETS legacy product and answering questions. Engage with product and development teams to provide product feedback and help shape the future of our APIs. Communicate complex technical challenges and solutions to the non-technical segments of our client base. Submit clearly articulated bug tickets for the development team, keep customers updated on their progress, and see these issues through to resolution. Identify common questions and concerns and create user facing documentation to address them. Associates Degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional/educational technical experience. Ideal candidates will have: Familiarity with XML or JSON data payloads. Ability to read log files, use data visualization tools, and developer tools. Experience with RESTful APIs Experience with a scripting language (such as PHP or Ruby). CLI experience, particularly with Unix/Linux or basic networking commands. Prior experience in the real estate industry. Familiarity with the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) Web API standard or Real Estate Transaction Standard (RETS) Physical Requirements: Activities: moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, communicating with others to exchange information, repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Environmental Conditions: no adverse environmental conditions expected. Physical Demands: Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
