Our Client requires the services of Developer/Programmer Analyst 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Developer/Programmer Analyst 3, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined below.
This Senior role perform advanced analysis involving all aspects of supporting, improving, and enhancing the database and reports for a large project. This position requires strong SQL, PL/SQL and Stored Procedures, along with extensive experience in integrating databases with Java applications. The worker will also devise approaches to solving complex problems, provide thought leadership, manage project scope, and provide ongoing updates on project status. The worker will also need to exhibit a high level of skill in data aggregation and analysis. This position works for section of IT-SEDS (Information Technology – Statewide Education Data System). Work assignments follow a defined software development life cycle (SDLC) process using an Agile-like approach for completing code changes for defined releases.

II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must meet or exceed the following minimum requirements. Those who do not may be displayed to customers but are less likely to be selected for this opportunity:
8 years of required experience in designing, coding, and supporting using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
8 years of required experience integrating databases with Java applications.
8 years of required experience in unit testing.
8 years of required experience working in an Agile environment.
III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start 02/17/2025 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 850 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
Services shall be provided during normal business hours . Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
The primary work location(s) will be at 100% Remote, Work Location With-in the United States. The working position is Telework. Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the Candidate’s and/or Vendor’s expense. Our Client will provide pre-approved, written authorization for travel for any services to be performed away from the primary work location(s). Pre-approved travel expenses are limited to the rates and comply with the rules prescribed by the State of Texas for travel by its classified employees, including any requirement for original receipts.
The Candidate(s) may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested. Payment for work over 40 hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and pre-approved through the client.
