As a DevOps Engineer you will work with a team to design, implement, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines; ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
Collaborate with development teams to develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems by monitoring and troubleshooting issues, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations
Work with operations teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications into production environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to improve the overall development lifecycle
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend improvements to our DevOps processes
Requirements
US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Experience with containerization using Docker or similar technology
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
Experience with configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Certification in DevOps engineering (e.g., Certified DevOps Engineer) or a related field
Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance regulations
