IPQualityScore is seeking a skilled Devops Engineer to join our team. As a Devops Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining IPQS systems and services, including automation, scaling and implementing preventative measures to avoid future challenges. If you have experience handling bare metal servers and a passion for technology while helping IPQS remain the leader in Fraud prevention, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
Requirements:
3 years experience or greater in Devops Engineering, Network Operations or similar role.
2 years of experience handling bare metal servers.
Expert understanding of Linux and system administration.
Expert with database administration
Strong knowledge of at least 2 programming languages. (Python, PHP, Golang, NodeJS, VueJS, TypeScript, Java, C, C#, C++, Rust, etc…)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Willing to pick up and program in PHP, Golang.
Extra Points For:
Understanding of PHP and Golang.
Ability to work in VueJS.
Advanced system administration skills.
Advanced knowledge of MySQL.
Ability to work in low level languages and/or understand binary.
Advanced knowledge of virus scanning technology and/or malware analysis.
Advanced knowledge in any of the following: monitoring software, Postman, web server technologies, hypervisor technologies, networking, machine learning, artificial intelligence, packet analysis, custom file formats, binary trees, etc…
Understanding of IPQualityScore’s APIs, frameworks or other utilities.

Responsibilities:
Develop and provide operational support for full-stack software applications
Collaborate with development operations staff to create, monitor, and troubleshoot the system infrastructure
Implement Systems and Services
Increase system resilience and scale to serve ever larger customer volumes with expert-level coding, bulletproof release, and change management skills.
Improve automation and increase the system’s ability to handle unexpected events.
Collect operating system and services data and reporting and improvement initiatives.
Automate deployment of systems and services
Manage cloud and database system maintenance, debugging production issues as they arise
Document architecture, process and procedures
