Job Description Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join one of Calgary's largest oil and gas companies for a 12 month contract with the highly likely possibility of extensions. This opportunity will be 3 days a week in office downtown Calgary with 2 work from home days available. This person will be responsible for automating and improving the deployment processes for NCR (RPOS and EPS) software installations and upgrades, with the goal of reducing failure rates and minimizing manual intervention. The successful candidate will work closely with Site Systems analysts, product managers covering the Canadian mobility market. Skills and Requirements -7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer/Software Engineer -Strong knowledge of CA site system hardware and software, including NCR product -Proficiency in Windows and Linux administration, and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and database management (e.g., MS SQL Server) -Experience with Git/Github -Experience with Powershell, Ansible/Puppet -Experience building CIDC pipelines from scratch -Embedded engineering experience, including working with hardware interface -Oil and gas experience -Retail and payments experience, especially in fuel retail null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
