Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with hands-on expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines within a Data Lakehouse environment on AWS. The ideal candidate will be proficient with a range of AWS services, including AWS Glue, S3, RDS, and IAM, and will have strong data engineering skills. This role will also involve infrastructure automation using Terraform and collaboration with data engineering teams to ensure the seamless deployment of data pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Data Lakehouse environments on AWS, enabling efficient deployment of data engineering applications. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, automating the provisioning and management of AWS resources. Collaborate with data engineering teams to deploy and optimize data pipelines utilizing AWS Glue, S3, RDS, and other AWS services. Manage version control and CI/CD workflows using GitHub, ensuring smooth integration and delivery of code and infrastructure changes. Develop and maintain GitHub Actions to automate testing, building, and deployment processes, enhancing CI/CD pipelines. Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform to maintain consistent, repeatable environments. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability. Work closely with data engineers to integrate Oracle GoldenGate and Informatica into data pipelines for seamless data flow and transformation. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred). Experience: 5+ years of DevOps experience with a focus on building CI/CD pipelines in a Data Lakehouse environment. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in AWS services, including AWS Glue, S3, RDS, IAM, EC2, and CloudFormation. Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation in AWS environments. Proven experience with GitHub for version control, including GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation. Experience with data engineering tools, specifically Oracle GoldenGate and Informatica, for data pipeline management. Strong scripting skills with languages like Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks. Preferred Skills: Experience with monitoring tools and optimizing DevOps pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency. Familiarity with additional AWS services or cloud platforms is a plus.
