As Director, Engineering, you'll lead a large engineering team or multiple disciplines. You'll lead product compliance, validation, shared engineering services, and R&D projects.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategic direction, planning, and performance of the team, ensuring successful outcomes.
Contribute to the strategic planning process, setting objectives, making critical decisions, and fostering success. Leading, engaging, and developing your team in the design and execution of complex engineering projects.
Align engineering processes and deliverables with overall organizational goals, demonstrating significant influence and broad impact.
Implement engineering best practices, optimizing efficiency, and driving continuous improvements in product innovation and quality.
Deliver engineering team results, while anticipating and resolving complex problems, and building relationships with stakeholders.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, project controls
Foster team engagement and retention
Deliver quality and efficiency improvement targets
Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
Experience - Proven experience in managing large technical teams, multiple technical disciplines, with global functions.
Possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to influence peers and collaborate effectively with executive leaders.
Demonstrate high business acumen with ability to analyze complex problems and data, and make high-quality, data-driven decisions.
Synthesizes data into crisp and sound strategic insights and conclusions.
Takes a global and long-term perspective when making business decisions.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity in order to adapt quickly. Intellectual
