BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION: Ecommerce Front-End Web Developer (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento, WP, Webflow). You’ll be responsible for building the initial ecommerce website with us, followed by ongoing updates on either a part-time or full-time basis. ABOUT US: We’re a father-and-son team bringing years of business experience to a new and exciting venture in the direct-to-consumer cabinet industry. I’m Blake, I own Ink Media, a marketing agency, with a background in ecommerce. I’ll be working closely with you on this new business which is my primary focus. My father, Keith, has successfully operated his business, Sandwich Kitchens, for over 20 years. Together, we’ve owned and grown several successful businesses. Now, we’re entering the ecommerce kitchen cabinet space with a vision to disrupt the DTC cabinet industry. Based on current market trends, we’re confident this will be our most successful venture yet. OPPORTUNITY: As our first hire, you’ll play a crucial role in building this business from the ground up. You’ll work closely with me, Blake, having direct input on the ecommerce platform’s development, influencing key decisions, and shaping the project’s direction. (Yes I wrote that 2x that is important for us) 3+ years of hands-on experience in ecommerce web development Ability to build a website with functionality similar to Cabinets.com Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks Experience with ecommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, WP, Webflow, or custom-built solutions Strong knowledge of UX/UI principles Experience with SEO best practices and performance optimization Utilize premium skills like Docker, Spring, and MySQL to enhance website functionality. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve website design and user engagement. Familiarity with integrating APIs and third-party tools Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment Portfolio showcasing ecommerce projects you’ve personally developed—no outsourcing 3 referrals from past employers or clients This role is for A-Players only.
