Embedded Software Engineer - Wireless Audio Devices

• Up To 75 EUR Per Hour
• Hannover, Germany - One visit per month on-site
• 9-month initial contract + extensions possible (long-term project)
• Preferred Start - January 2025

This company are a globally leading, high-quality professional audio brand with a strong presence in the business communication sector, particularly with wireless solutions.

They are searching for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with strong experience in real-time devices to join their Wireless Business Communications device team to take a vital role in the design and development of firmware and drivers for their products including headsets, microphones, and access points.

This is a critical role with a high impact on key product development projects, where you’ll directly influence the next generation of audio solutions!

You Will Be...

• Developing low-level software including firmware and device drivers for audio devices;
• Collaborating with teams working on device bring-up and Audio DSP features;
• Developing, optimising, and troubleshooting real-time firmware for boot sequences;
• Engaging with testing, quality assurance, and cross-functional stakeholders.

If You Have...

• Experience in Firmware Development: Expertise in C, C++, and Python in real-time embedded environments;
• Real-time Systems: Solid experience working in embedded systems with low-level firmware, hardware, and boot-up processes;
• (Bonus) DSP Knowledge: Understanding or experience with DSP chips and related algorithms (desirable).
• German Language Skills: Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, with strong communication skills
