Key Accountabilities:
Strong development experience
Experienced in design and development of embedded software solutions
Ensure software architecture work products are delivered
Provide architecture and associated process direction, guidance and training
Review architecture engineering work products for quality and completeness of technical content
Resolve complex problems by selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and knowledge
Exchange complex technical ideas and information in a concise and logical way
Embrace agility to tailor technical message to a broader audience with various levels of technical knowledge and understanding
Continuously seek simplicity and identify opportunities for improvement.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline with 5+ years Software (traditional and model-base) experience, OR
Master’s degree in STEM discipline with 3+ years Software (traditional and model-base) experience, OR
PhD in degree in STEM discipline with experience in Software
Preferred Requirements:
5+ year of experience in embedded safety critical software engineering
Use a DO-178 compliant software coding process.
Control software experience
Digital logic design experience
Familiar with Model based software design and simulation (Simulink or similar)
Familiar with working in agile software development teams
Desire to successfully work in a team environment, establishing collaborative relationships with coworkers
Current (or ability to obtain/maintain) US DOD Secret or Top Secret security Clearance
Ability to present technical data to senior engineers and management.
