Description As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our cutting-edge software solutions. Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular project. Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met. This position allows periodic telework. Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. Experience Twenty (20) years' experience plus a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Required skills: C++ Python Experience required to support container and container orchestration GoLang GitOps - agile Dev(Sec)Ops using Gitlab experience API development experience such as gRPC, Corba, REST, etc. Linux / Unix experience High-speed, distributed processing application development experience. Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software Debug existing software and correct defects Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features. Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance Desired skills: High-speed networking and network protocol experience. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $245,000 - $285,000.
