ETL Informatica Developer with Teradata, SQL and Production Support Experience

Job Location:-Remote

The successful candidate will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, monitor systems, and ensure that all systems and data pipelines run efficiently. This role also involves managing deployments, handling escalations, and ensuring that service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Integration Support:

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Informatica workflows for data processing and integration within the VLM platform.
• Ensure seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes between SQL, Oracle, and Teradata environments.

1. Database Management:

• Perform SQL query optimization, data validation, and integrity checks to ensure accurate reporting and analytics.
• Support Teradata database operations, including performance tuning and managing large datasets.

1. Incident and Issue Resolution:

• Identify, analyze, and resolve production incidents and performance issues related to VLM.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.

1. System Monitoring and Maintenance:

• Proactively monitor system health, database performance, and ETL workflows to prevent disruptions.
• Manage scheduled jobs and scripts for daily and periodic data processing tasks.

5 Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with business users to gather requirements and address concerns.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements and fixes.

1. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Maintain updated documentation for workflows, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Share insights and resolutions with team members to enhance collective knowledge.

Mandatory Skill Sets:-

• Overall IT experience 13 to 15 years And 4+ years of experience in production support, including managing on-premise and cloud-based systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica PowerExchange (PWX) for ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL, with expertise in Oracle and Teradata for troubleshooting, data manipulation, and query optimization.
• Experience in data integration and managing data flows between databases, including data migration and transformation tasks.
• In-depth understanding of database management systems such as Teradata, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Proven ability to monitor and troubleshoot production environments, with a focus on maintaining database integrity and performance.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or similar, for real-time monitoring of workflows, jobs, and system health.
• Solid troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and implement solutions quickly.
• Knowledge of incident management processes using tools like ServiceNow (SNOW) for ticketing, change management, and escalation procedures.
• Ability to perform database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing, and partitioning strategies.
• Proficiency in using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and process improvement.
• Experience working with business teams to identify requirements, troubleshoot production issues, and provide efficient solutions.
