Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated FileMaker Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with clients to collect scope, spec, building wireframes, and designing, coding, and maintaining FileMaker apps. Sustaining existing apps by responding to user tickets is vital. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract software development, a strong background in rapid application development, troubleshooting large existing asps and a passion for creating innovative solutions. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new using wireframes in Figma and Trello. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices. Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to optimize performance and respond to client requests. Participate in client meetings and share knowledge with team members. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and enhance product offerings. Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications for future reference. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in FileMaker is required, JavaScript is a plus. Experience with web development is a plus. Familiarity with FileMaker ExecuteSQL and Insert from URL . Understanding of rapid application development methodologies . Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience will be considered.
