Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Front-End Developer to join our client's dynamic team. As a direct hire, you will be a career employee working remotely in the ever-evolving telecommunications industry.

The Front-End Developer plays a critical role in building and maintaining engaging and user-friendly web applications. Working closely with product owners, designers, and other developers, you will translate Figma designs into high-quality, responsive React components and pages. You will also be responsible for writing performant, scalable and maintainable code with a focus on performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility of front-end code.

Core Responsibilities

• Work closely with product owners and designers to understand product requirements and translate them into high-quality Figma designs.
• Build and maintain user interfaces using React, ensuring adherence to best practices and design patterns.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with APIs and services.
• Optimize front-end performance for maximum responsiveness and user experience.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility of front-end code.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and trends.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5 or more years of proven, professional experience as a Front-End Developer
• 3 or more years of proven, professional experience with React
• U.S. Citizen willing and able to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Practical Agile methodology experience to include active participation in Scrum sessions
• Proven proficiency in React and JavaScript
• Solid use of Figma to create UI designs
• Practical use of wireframe software like Balsamiq
• Applied knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles
• Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility testing and accessibility guidelines
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team
• Passion for creating beautiful and user-friendly web experiences
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Design, or a related field

Desired Experience

• TypeScript and Zustand or other state management libraries
• Building reusable components using atomic design principles
• Micro Frontends (MFEs)
• UI testing frameworks like React testing library or Jest
• Performance optimization techniques
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
